Summer Sunset Yoga

A Weekly Ritual on the River

Give yourself five Thursday evenings this summer.

An intimate seasonal yoga experience on the Columbia River.

July 23 – August 20

Thursdays • 75 minutes

Limited to seven guests

 More than a yoga class.

For five Thursday evenings, this little corner of the Columbia River becomes a place to slow down.

As the day softens into evening, we move through a gentle Hatha yoga practice designed to improve strength, balance, mobility and ease of movement.

There is no rush.

No performance.

No pressure to keep up.

Just thoughtful movement, fresh air, the sound of water, and the changing colours of the sky.

We finish with a guided relaxation as the sun sets over the river.

Your evening begins...

Arrive a few minutes early and settle into the peaceful rhythm of life on the river.

We practise together.

A 75-minute Hatha yoga class suitable for a range of experience levels, with options offered throughout.

We pause.

As the sun begins to set, we finish with guided relaxation, allowing the sounds of the river and evening birds to become part of the practice.

Then head home...

Feeling calmer, lighter, and more connected than when you arrived.

You may enjoy this if...

You love spending time outdoors and feel restored by nature.

You enjoy moving your body, but have little interest in loud music, crowded rooms or keeping up with everyone else.

You appreciate thoughtful teaching, where every person is encouraged to move in a way that feels right for them.

You'd like to create a meaningful ritual for yourself this summer rather than simply letting the weeks slip by.

You enjoy sharing special experiences with a small group of welcoming people.

You'd love to finish each Thursday evening feeling calmer than when you arrived.

A Personal Invitation

Last summer I offered Sunset Yoga on our floating home for the first time.

At first, it was simply an idea I wanted to try. I wondered whether practising yoga outdoors, surrounded by water, birds, changing skies and the quiet rhythm of the river, might create something different from a traditional class.

It did.

Week after week, I watched people arrive carrying the pace of their day and leave looking noticeably calmer. The conversations afterwards, the shared sunsets and the sense of connection made me realise this was becoming much more than a yoga class.

That's why I'm offering it again this summer.

For five Thursday evenings, I'd love to welcome a small group of seven people to share this experience with me.

If it speaks to you, I'd be delighted to have you join us.
